“Most people see what is, and never see what could be”

Albert Einstein

Our psychological assessments help identify key problem areas, improve understanding of underlying needs, explore important concerns, and plan treatment options. Our comprehensive behaviour, social, emotional, and academic assessments include

  • Cognitive Assessments (IQ tests) & Adaptive Functioning Assessments
  • Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD) assessments

Effective Therapy

Achieve your aspirations

“All things are difficult before they are easy”

Thomas Fuller

Some people come to us because strong feelings like depression, anger, or anxiety are causing problems in their lives, or they might want help managing a chronic condition that is interfering with their lives or physical health. Others may want to learn ways to cope with stressful situations or have short-term problems, such as feeling overwhelmed by a new job or grieving the death of a family member.

We can help you achieve your individual goals by using a variety of techniques based on the best available research which consider your individual values, characteristics, goals, and circumstances.

Our psychologists are all registered with the Psychology Board of Australia, have over 6 years of professional training and experience in using clinical skills to help people learn how to cope more effectively with life challenges and mental health problems.

They are trained and experienced in Motivational Interviewing, Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT), Behaviour Therapy, and Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT) approaches. Each client will be treated as the individual they are, and their circumstances and needs will determine the nature of therapy advised by the clinician. We will provide practical, science-based strategies and skills. We may recommend exercises or provide reading material for you between sessions to maximise your progress.

Funding options: Funding options for assessments include Full Fee, or Private health insurance, Medicare rebates, Workers Compensation, and (where approved by the relevant funding agency)
